An extraordinary Porsche visited our install shop this week. This 2023 Porsche 718 GT4 RS is a 493 horsepower track seeking missile on wheels. Developed using parts from its larger sibling, the 911 GT3, this new Porsche 718 GT4 RS has all the bells and whistles. We loved having it at our shop, providing visual simulation while we worked. The owner plans on using this GT4 RS for what it was built to do, meaning hunt for the apex at the local track. So, we protected this new street legal racer with full XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS PPF 10MIL and followed it up with full FUSION PLUS ceramic coating.

With ULTIMATE PLUS 10 MIL, the higher-grade thickness of the film provides extra strength paint protection. It will help protect the Porsche’s high-risk areas like the hood, front splitter, headlights, and carbon fiber components. ULTIMATE PLUS 10 MIL is the strongest film XPEL provides. The 2021 Shelby Mustang GT350R is an instant classic. Its 526 horsepower Voodoo a 5.2-liter flat-plane crank V8 engine, track-focused suspension, and sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires make the Shelby GT350R a force to be reckoned with on the track and street. However, before this GT350R could hit either one, it needed to be protected with XPEL PPF and window tint.

We treated the famed Shelby GT350R with a full front ‘clear bra’ using self-healing ULTIMATE PLUS PPF and tinted its rear and side glass with UV protective PRIME XR PLUS window film. While the PPF works to prevent damage to the Mustang’s front end, PRIME XR PLUS will help keep harmful UV rays and uncomfortable infrared heat out of the interior.

PRIME XR Plus window tint is designed to protect interiors against 99 percent of harmful UV rays. Moreover, XPEL tint helps increase interior comfort by deflecting 98 percent of infrared heat.
